C.E. Certification
C.E. is an acronym for Conformité Européenne, the French translation for European Conformity. The C.E. marking is needed for specific product groups manufactured or sold within the European Economic Area.

U.L. Certification
Underwriters Laboratories issue U.L. certification to document that a product is US-made. It is not a mandatory certification, but having one proves that the product has been tested and is safe to use.

FCC Certification
The Federal Communications Commission, most commonly referred to as FCC, is a legally required certificate for all products that emit electromagnetic signals at the frequency range of 9 kHz or more.

A:  The I.P. Code, Ingress Protection code, or IEC standard, classifies and determines the level of protection provided by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures against dust, contact, and liquid.

A:  All products are FCC Part 15 compliant, a common testing standard for most electronic equipment. And all lighting products such as recessed fixtures, plugs, switches, and under cabinets are also compliant with ETL standards. Bulb and conversion kits are U.L. listed.

A:  These fixtures are 12 watts which is the equivalent of a 50W halogen bulb with a brightness of 900 lumens.

This conversion kit is 11 watts, equivalent to a 65W halogen bulb, and has a brightness of 700 lumens.

This fixture is 24 watts, the equivalent of a 100W halogen bulb, and has a brightness of 1300 lumens.

These bulbs are 10 watts which is the equivalent of a 60W halogen bulb with a brightness of 800 lumens.

These fixtures are 11 watts which is the equivalent of a 650W halogen bulb and have a brightness of 650 lumens.

A:  WiFi lighting is not compatible with dimmers. A dimmer works by reducing the amperage/voltage on the fixture. Connecting a smart fixture to a dimmer will affect the functionalities and connectivity. The dimming function through the app controls the intensity of the LED chips inside and not the electrical current. From the app, you can dim your lights by 10% intervals.

A: Yes!

A: Standard light switches are compatible; however, dimmers are not. For smart products, you will need to dim using the BAZZ App.

A: Below is the list of dimmers which are compatible per Bazz product item number.

Dimmer marked with * indicates limited compatibility. These can produce a flicker at a different intensity.

All recommended dimmers were tested with 1 and 6 bulbs or with an integrated LED fixture. No flickering was noticed. All our products with adjustable intensity in LED are compatible with the listed dimmers. Otherwise, an “X” is marked next to the dimmer. However, it is possible that in certain circumstances a flickering can be noticed. Multiple reasons can be possible but the most current include: electric equipment with engine, an electronic product producing interferences on the electric line, CFL bulbs, bad bulbs or LED bulbs connected on the same phase.

Reminder:

A LED bulb response quickly to any variation on the electric line compared to an incandescent bulb. All our bulbs and fixture were tested for an ambient noise with our compatible dimmers and have a noise level widely lower than the Energy Star standard of 24DB in 1 meter.

Upon verification, if the problems persist, we ask that you send us an e-mail at: service@bazz.ca with your proof of purchase as well as the model # of the product and the description of the problem. We shall then send you a form to be returned to us with the defective product so that we can make the necessary checks.

A: The integrated LED is rated for 25,000 hours, so you can be confident it will work for years to come.

A: Our return policy lasts 30 days. Unfortunately, if 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

A: Most of our products come with a one-year warranty. Our recessed fixtures come with a 3-year warranty. BAZZ’s warranty applies to manufacturing defects affecting its products that existed at the time of the purchase, are non-apparent, and are unknown to the buyer. This warranty applies to the product only and does not cover the installation of the product. It does not apply to material, economic, and/or physical damages or losses caused by the product. This warranty will not apply to any damages and/or losses caused by incorrect use, installation or maintenance of the product. Therefore, the manufacturer is not liable for damages to the product or material, economic and/or physical damages, or losses caused by incorrect product use, installation, or maintenance. If the buyer considers that the product is affected by a defect, the buyer should return the product to the point of purchase or send an email to BAZZ. Should the buyer decide to send an email, a description of the alleged problem should be included in the email. A proof of purchase and a picture clearly illustrating the alleged defect should be attached to the email. The buyer should also return the product to BAZZ at his/her own expense. After product inspection, BAZZ will repair or replace the product free of charge if the warranty applies.

A: You will only receive the refund after we’ve received the item.

A: Not satisfied with your purchase? We offer complimentary 30-day returns on all our items! To return your product, ask for an authorization # at service@bazz.ca.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for the exchanged product to reach you may vary.

A: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at service@bazz.ca. You will need to return your defective product first to analyze it. If you are still in the 30 day period, a return label will be provided. Once received and inspected, we will proceed with a replacement.

A: Shipping and delivery times vary by state and province. Check your delivery options and checkout for a more accurate estimate.

A: Throughout the year, we do offer promotions for free shipping.

Free shipping does not apply to Alaska and Hawaii.

A: We currently only ship to Canada and the U.S.
